Inspirations

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Margaret Mead

Prep for Session

  • Please map out a solution concept idea using the concept map (handout or on MIRO).  This might be one idea that came from your partner brainstorm session. It might be a combo of ideas from that brainstorm, or it might be a totally new idea that percolated for you after the brainstorming session. Any fellow who does their concept map somewhere other than MIRO should have a photo of their map ready to share during the session (you could send it to Steve ahead of time or just have it on your computer and share your screen).
  • Have fun with this exercise! Your concept idea is not expected to be feasible or good. Defer to your own judgement and create something that may even seem like a wild idea (i.e. think meat hats!). Remember, this exercise is a chance to think creatively and out-of-the-box without worrying about where your concept map is going. Whatever you create might not lead in a straight line to your ultimate project, but it might lead to a new insight that ends up changing the course of your project. Each fellow will share their concept map at the beginning of the next session.
